Dust from load chutes and head box inlets are a major portion of dust emissions, causing bad housekeeping and even citations from air quality regulators.The Simplicity Chute Baffle prevents fugitive dust emissions with a three-stage curtain incorporated into the baffle. The outer layers are wear-resistant urethane strip curtains. Sandwiched between the two is a nylon bristle strip, which acts as filler and prevents dust from escaping between the slits in the urethane curtain. Combined with an Arch Dust Fogger system, the Simplicity Chute Baffle will virtually eliminate dust when installed properly at your transfer points.
